New Beginnings Of Nevada
New Beginnings is a biblically-based discipleship program that provides re-entry services for men and women seeking a better way of life after being released from juvenile hall, jail and prison.
New Beginnings’ mission is to teach them to be independent, self-supporting, and stable under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, becoming an asset to their family, church, friends, and our community.
They help people, through the Word of God and daily habits, to break free of the dead end lifestyle. They provide many services including providing a safe place for residents to feel comfortable, monitored by staff 24/7.
Their vision is for our region to have the lowest recidivism, crime, and homeless rate per capita in our nation.

Randy Haskins, founder of New Beginnings, a reentry organization for those coming out of incarceration, shares his journey from a troubled past to a life-changing decision to follow Jesus.
He emphasizes the importance of moral rehabilitation and a relationship with Christ for successful reentry. New Beginnings provides a structured program, including a six-month foundation period, job placement, and skill development through an auto shop and thrift store.
Despite high national recidivism rates, New Beginnings has achieved a 33% recidivism rate for those staying longer than 90 days and a 7% rate for graduates. The ministry is funded through church support, private donors, and in-house fundraising efforts, with a focus on teaching self-sufficiency.
