The Right To Share Your Faith
You can be bold in sharing your faith.
You have many more rights to share your Christianity in the workplace, schools and your communities in the United States than you would imagine.
Attorney and legal expert Brad Dacus discusses ways that Christians can share their faith in the workplace, their children’s schools, and even in the Public Squares.
Brad has made it his mission to empower Christians to be bold in their faith with a heart for others.
It’s not about living a life that’s easy. It’s about living a life that is fruitful and glorifying to the Lord. And, there is an opportunity for each of us to experience this in the workplace.

Don’t believe what the world is trying to tell you. You have many more rights to share your faith in the workplace in the United States than you would imagine. Attorney and legal expert Brad Dacus discusses ways that Christians can share their faith in the workplace, such as displaying religious items on their desks, inviting co-workers to church, reading the Bible during breaks, and praying at their desks.
He notes that these rights apply to both government and private employers, and encourages Christians to be proactive in exercising their rights.
EMPOWERING CHRISTIANS IN THE SCHOOLS
Brad Dacus
PACIFIC JUSTICE INSTITUTE | President
Brad shares about the spiritual warfare taking place in public schools in America and the various options parents have for their children’s education, including public, charter, private, homeschooling, and co-ops.
He emphasizes the importance of Christian students to assert their First Amendment rights to express their faith in public schools, such as sharing the gospel, forming Christian clubs, and organizing revival rallies. He also provides guidance for Christian teachers in public schools and for parents on how to get involved and protect their children. He also provides suggestions for pastors and churches in how best to reach out to public school students.
EMPOWERING STREET PREACHERS
Brad Dacus
PACIFIC JUSTICE INSTITUTE | President
Brad outlines the rights of public evangelism or street preaching in the United States. He explains that public evangelism is a protected right under the First Amendment’s free exercise and free speech clauses, though it is subject to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions.
He shares about various legal cases and strategies used by the Pacific Justice Institute to defend the rights of street preachers, including challenging hate speech laws and working with prosecutors to prevent the filing of bogus charges.
He also provides guidance on appropriate locations for public evangelism, such as public sidewalks and parks, while noting that residential areas may not be protected. Brad’s goal is to inform and empower Christians to exercise their right to publicly share the gospel.
EMPOWERING CHRISTIAN BUSINESS OWNERS
Brad Dacus
PACIFIC JUSTICE INSTITUTE | President
Brad explains how Christian business owners and closely-held companies can legally live out their faith in the workplace.
He covers topics such as crafting a mission statement that reflects Christian values, hiring employees who are comfortable with the company’s religious culture, hosting voluntary Bible studies and prayer groups, celebrating religious holidays, displaying Christian materials, and engaging in community outreach through charitable donations and employee volunteer programs.
The key message is that private businesses have significant legal protections to incorporate their religious beliefs into their operations, as long as they reasonably accommodate employees with differing beliefs.
